This blog post contains images from a few weddings I've shot over the last couple of years.
It is dedicated to the special moments that succeeds the big moment - when the bride and groom become man and wife. A lot of hugging and tears and laughter and celebration - it is important to capture the big moment but it is more important to capture the events that follow the big moment. Showcasing a few that I've been fortunate enough to witness and capture.

Pooja and Varun are childhood sweethearts from California and when they contacted me for their tamil wedding which was to be held in Chennai, I was super excited to get on board! I met Pooja just the day before their 3-day celebration was to begin and I instantly knew I was in for an amazing shoot. The schedule - mehndi, sangeet, the wedding and a reception.
The mehndi was held at their sprawling house in Kilpauk and boy, do I love house parties! I'll let the photos do the talking from here.
The dance and music was carried on to the Sangeet, a bigger bash at The Savera, Chennai.
The wedding was at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall in Chennai and everybody were at their glowing best.
The reception was held at MRC but I managed to sneak in a few images while they were getting ready at The Leela Palace, Chennai.
It was a delight shooting Pooja and Varun's biggest 3 days of their lives, frame by frame. These images remind me why I started shooting weddings - the satisfaction of being a part of people's happiness and to be able to capture it for them. :)
